VoiceSpring: The VS Process

Once you decide to make the switch to the VoiceSpring VoIP phone system:

1.  Documentation (Time Frame: 1-2 Business days)
We'll send you a VoiceSpring agreement and Letter of Authorization for you to sign and date.  These documents give us permission to change your phone service from your existing carrier to VoiceSpring.  We'll also need a copy of your most recent phone bill.

2.  Site Survey (Time Frame: 1-5 Business days)
A VoiceSpring technician will come to your site and test your internet speed, network, and other technical aspects (wiring, credit card machine, fax line, etc.).  The technician will recommend and facilitate necessary changes.  

3.  Installation (Time Frame: 1-3 Business days)
A VoiceSpring technician will come to your location and install your new Hosted phone system.  At this point you will be able to make outgoing calls on your new system, but incoming calls will still go through your old phone system.

4.  Porting (Time Frame: 7-10 Business days)
Porting a number means to switch the phone carrier for that number (in this case, from your current provider to VoiceSpring).  Once a porting order is submitted, it takes between 7 and 10 business days to complete.  Once the port has completed, all inbound and outbound calls will go through your new system.  

5.  Training (Time Frame: 1 Business day)
A VoiceSpring representative will come to your location after your phones have been installed and do a brief training session on the basic features of your new VoiceSpring phone system.  

*The length of time it takes to make the switch to VoiceSpring phone service is dependant upon how quickly documentation is signed, what changes need to be made to your internet, and how many phones/ phones lines you have.  No matter how big, small, or complicated your phone system currently is, we'll make sure that the switch to VoiceSpring is as efficient, clean, and hassle-free as possible.
